Well, I missed a day darnit. Better late than never.
Another yucky day here in southeast Texas. It's cold and rainy. Makes me want to be lazy at home.
This morning was interesting. I had to stop to get gas so I pull into the Pilot station where everyone and their mother wanted to be. I found the pump I wanted to wait on and sat there for a bit waiting for the guy in the truck to hurry with his gas. He finally finishes and I get going on pumping gas. Out of nowhere I hear tire screeching and a man yelling. I turned around and the action is happening right behind my car. Apparently a van was taking the suv's pump and he didn't like that. The altercation made me a little scared. The guy in the suv jumped out of his car and banged on the vans window yelling curse words and all. He was seriously making a scene and people all around looked like they were uneasy as well. I said a prayer-"Please gas pump hurry! I don't want to be in the middle of this!". The driver of the van decided to not make the guy in the suv any angerier and drove away. You know, life is way too short to act like that. The guy in the suv has some serious issues. He needs God. I am thankful that the guy didn't pull out a gun or something. Those are the things I think about. "Oh gosh, I'm gonna be on the news as a innocent dead standbyer."
Last night's season premier of Lost has gotten us even more Lost! What in the world?!? I am so confused. We had questions before and now we have even MORE questions. Geez.
Now onto Robert. Monday night for the first time since he got sick, Robert had a short (maybe 5sec) blackout moment. He said it was really weird and he could see for a few seconds. These silent migraines can cause just about anything wrong with your body. I just want my hubby back to his normal self!
He felt a bit groggy yesterday. This medicine is taking forever to make him "normal". For dinner last night I made him a plain turkey burger (no seasoning, no bread, no condiments) and that seemed to settle with him okay. That's all he wanted. He ended up having a couple of short episodes last night. You know, I may beginning to wonder if Robert's condition is still a mystery. I really hope that Dr. Athari is serious with his diagonsis. Hopefully the medicine is on its way to help him. This week, we have to decide if he needs to go on short-term disability. He really doesn't want to do that, but he probably needs to so he can get his body/mind straight. I am very thankful that my Mom is available to stay with Robert while I go to work. I don't know what we would do without her.
After work today, I am going to get my hair done today. I can't wait for a new do. I can't decide if I want to go short or let it keep growing. :-/
