Baby steps...

Well, Robert decided to try to go to work today even though he had a doctors note to excuse him.  I drove him to work.  When we got there, I told him I would wait around to make sure he wanted to stay. I found a sonic and grabbed breakfast.  It wasn't long and he wanted me to come back and pick him up.  He just wasn't feeling well.  We don't think he took his medicine early enough to kick in.  On our way home, he said he felt good and wanted to try to drive.  We have to make sure he can function while on the road. I know that sounds scary, but he has to see if he can cope with everyday life.  I asked him if he wanted to go back to work to try and he wanted to use his doctors note.  He had already ok'd it and all.  So, now we're home and he has fallen asleep while I am watching Y&R.  He can't sleep long, though.  He HAS to go to bed on time tonight.  Since his illness, he hasn't been getting any rest.  He will finally go to bed between 3-5am. Mom may have to drive him to work this week for me.  It's easier for her to turn around and pick him up if he needs to be rather than me.  I have to be at work.  Luckily, I have a short week.  I will be going out of town Friday to head to Mississippi for a wedding.  I will be back in time to celebrate Valentines Day with my hubby.  :-) Well, I think I may go run some errands.  Make my day off useful.
