I ♥ NKOTB

Last night I saw NKOTB at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion with Rachel, Leah, and Ashley. This concert was the last one of the tour. Sad :-(. They're awesome! On the way to the Pavilion, we got into a bad storm and prayed that it would stop for the show. Thank God it did-and we had a wonderful breeze to keep us cool. As soon as we entered the gates, I had to find something to eat/drink. All I had all day was a peanut butter sandwhich. Wasn't thrilled to pay the overpriced foods. I got a grilled chicken sandwhich that had no mayo for $9.50 w/ fries and a bottle water for $4.00. A bit outrageous. I really wanted a rita but I couldn't see myself paying $12.00 for it! The opening act was The Jabbawockeez. They were MTV's Best Dance Crew winner. They are pretty good. Then it seemed like we waited forever for the guys to make their appearance. But, once they appeared, we were soooo happy! I am hoping this wasn't the last concert forever...they gotta keep going. Here are a few photos from the show.

Cleaning Day

Today is Monday and its my day off. Yesterday, I started to clean out my "old" room. I threw away a bunch of stuff and have bags of stuff to give away. Robert's cousin Hannah and her daughter Aubrey, Robert's sister Kim and her lil guy Eli, and Robert's Mom came by to see what I was giving away. We hung out for a bit and watched Aubrey and Eli play together. I have been doing laundry today. My gosh Robert can load up the laundry basket in a week! I need to figure out how to wash during the week so I am not wasting a whole day doing laundry. At least the downstairs is clean-the kitchen is clean. I am trying to get my old room ready for Mom and Dad. Yeah, Mom and Dad are moving here next month because Dad's job ends in Mississippi. The plan is that they will be here for a year and then they'll be off to Australia for a few years. I am excited that they will be back here but its gonna be kinda weird to be all living in this house. I am hoping that we can save money in a year to buy a house while they are here. We are paying rent and all but the utilities can be split. Oh, the joys of growing up!

Robert's Mom is coming by tonight for our Bachelorette show. We are both hooked. Her tv isn't hooked up yet from working on the floors.

5 days until New Kids on the Block! It's the last concert of the year and I am excited!!
13 days until I am in Mississippi!

Just Presley and I

After work tonight, I got home and thought I would sit and rest for a minute. Mom called and we chatted for a bit. The last thing I remember is that Mom said, "You sound tired, so I will let you go for now". Then it was 8pm! I must have feel asleep! Poor Presley was still in the kennell. Poor guy. We were busy at work today so I guess and needed a little rest.
Robert is at his Mom's leveling the floor so he can lay the laminate wood tomorrow. I am sure he is ready for the project to be completed. I need some help at the house to get ready for Mom and Dad to be here next month. I have to move some of my furniture from my "old room" to the master room.
7 days and my friends and I will be jamm'n to NKOTB at their concert. I am so excited! And, 2 weeks until I will be in Mississippi/Alabama visiting family.
Still haven't heard from the videographer. Hopefully I will soon.
I guess I will straighten the house a bit so I don't have to in the morning.

Rae made me do it...

Yep. She did. I spent a lovely evening with my bff, Rae and she thought it would be a good idea for me to blog. She has recently started this new fab so I figured I would jump on too. I figured it would be a good idea to share stories of being a newlywed and such. A lot of things will be happening in the next few month so this may be the perfect time to start. I am not sharing until I blog. :-) So, this blog is basically just to see how this works. I will do my best to start fresh tomorrow.
