2 Weeks and We're Finally onto Something...

This is the latest:
Mom came to hang with Robert today. Sometime before lunch he started to have an "episode". He called Dr. Athari and they told him to come in right away. Mom took him to the doctor. He said they saw him right away-so hardly any wait time. No wait time at doctors are hard to come by these days. After discussing what was going on, the doc reveals the MRI and brainwave test. The brainwave test came back good. The MRI test revealed a lesion in his brain. When he first told me that-I freaked! What do you mean a lesion!?!?!?!?! What does this mean?!?!?! The lesion means damaged brain tissue. And the doc thinks he may have had a stroke. A STROKE?!?! This doesn't seem like this should be happening to my 27 yr old hubby. On the other hand, it is a relief to finally know what has been going on. So since he may have had a stroke, that is causing his seizures. Who knew this could happen to a "healthy" guy. Every time we went to the E.R. and all the doc visits in the past 2weeks no one said that something could be wrong. It angers me a bit that he has had to go on like this for 2 weeks, maybe even longer. Robert thinks he may know when he had the stroke, and it could have been when he was driving home one night from a friends house. That's a bit scary! What if it was more serious and he didn't make it home safe?!? I am so glad I got him in to see Dr. Athari (Neurologist). If I hadn't, we would still be clueless and Robert would probably be feeling worse. Thank God it's not a tumor too! Robert is going to continue to take the meds and we are schedule to see Dr. Athari Monday afternoon. We will probably be doing another test to determine how the blood vessels are working with the brain. I think that means a dye test.
Robert's Mom is staying overnight tonight so she will already be here to hang with him tomorrow while I am at work. Sure wish I could stay home. So, that's the latest. Thank you everyone for your prayers.
